School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

Stage 2 Camp - CCC Hawkesbury

Nestled beside the tranquil waters of the Nepean River, CCC Hawkesbury offers the perfect camp.

Children stayed in cabins which encircle a spacious central oval, creating an ideal balance of privacy and community.

The children enjoyed activities during their stay including:

  • Flying Fox
  • Archery
  • Orienteering
  • Bush Cooking

Stage 3 Camp - Berry Sport and Recreation

The camp provides challenges and activities to enable students to: overcome their fears and limitations; challenge themselves; grow in confidence and self-esteem; step outside their comfort zone; develop an appreciation for nature; manage risk and learn to reflect; and develop team building and leadership skills.

Indoor and Outdoor activities that are included range from Archery, Team Challenges, Scavenger Hunts and more.

Berry Sport and Recreation Centre is set on 62 hectares of prime rural farmland on the outskirts of town, Berry Sport and Recreation Centre boasts expansive skies, lush green pasturelands and a first-class rowing waterway. Old farm buildings dot the landscape adding a pastoral charm, while a regenerated forest, chickens and native bushfoods garden reflect the Centre’s sustainable vision.

Hawkesbury Performing Arts Festival

Students in our Choir and Dance Groups were successful in their audition for the Hawkesbury Performing Arts Festival.

They will be performing at Windsor High School representing our School after working incredibly hard in preparation for their performances.

Kindergarten Excursion - Calmsley City Farm

Students in Kindergarten went on an excursion to Calmsley Hill City Farm, Abbotsbury.

This excursion was planned to supplement work being completed in classrooms.

Students learnt about farm animals, native animals and plants.

Students where involved in a variety of activities including hands on experiences with a range of animals, farmyard nursery petting, cow milking, a stockwhip demonstration, watching a working dog show, sheep shearing and a tractor ride.
