Events

School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

Stage 2 Cooking

Students will be participating in Basic Cooking Classes over a five-week period. These classes aim to enhance the students' culinary skills such as chopping and baking, learning about different ingredients and their uses, best practices for handling food safely while promoting healthy eating habits, teamwork and fostering skills in cooperation and communication.

Colour Explosion Fun Run

Date: 19th September 2025

Richmond North Public School P & C will be holding a Colour Explosion Fun Run. This fundraising event will help raise funds whilst having fun with obstacles and explosion of colour.

Stage 3 Camp - Canberra

Date: 30 October 2025

Students will be visiting local attractions around our nation's capital, including Questacon, Parliament House, Museum of Australian Democracy and Old Parliament House. Students will be staying at the Ibis Styles in Canberra overnight.

Kindergarten Excursion - Calmsley City Farm

Date: 7 November 2025

As part of our Term 4 unit “The Farm”, all Kindergarten students will be going on an excursion to The Calmsley Hill City Farm, Abbotsbury.

The students will engage in a variety of activities including, a tractor ride, hands on experience with many farm animals, watch a dog show, shearing the sheep and milking a cow.
